Tour overview
This 4-night safari tour takes you to two of Kenya’s most famous national parks – Tsavo West and Amboseli. You will spend 2 nights in Voyager Ziwani Tented Camp in Tsavo West and 2 nights in Oltukai Lodge in Amboseli.
In Tsavo West National Park, you’ll explore the park’s diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and many more. You will have the opportunity to see underwater hippos and crocodiles through an underwater observatory at the Mzima Springs. You will also enjoy game drives and optional activities such as guided nature walks and bird watching.
In Amboseli National Park, you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife roaming against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. You will see elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, and many more. You can also visit a Maasai village to learn about the traditional Maasai culture and take part in a guided nature walk.

Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park
Meet your safari driver/guide at your Nairobi hotel, airport or residence. Depart Nairobi early in the morning, driving south-eastwards on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. Enter Tsavo West National Park through the Tsavo River gate and start a game drive en route to Voyager Ziwani Tented Camp. Check in to the camp, have lunch and relax in the camp's grounds. Afternoon game drive in the Ziwani area of the park, known for its diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and many more. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsavo West National Park Full Day
Early morning game drive to explore the park and spot wildlife in their natural habitats. Return to the camp for breakfast and rest. Optional activities include a guided nature walk, bird watching or a visit to the nearby Mzima Springs where you can observe underwater hippos and crocodiles through an underwater observatory. Lunch at the camp, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park
Early breakfast, then drive to Amboseli National Park via the Shetani lava flow and the Chyulu Hills. Arrive at Oltukai Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park, with opportunities to spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, and many more. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Amboseli National Park Full Day
Early morning game drive in Amboseli to catch the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, and spot wildlife roaming against the backdrop of the mountain. Return to the lodge for breakfast and rest. Optional activities include a visit to a Maasai village to learn about the traditional Maasai culture, or a guided nature walk with a naturalist guide. Lunch at the lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Day 5: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive back to Nairobi.Arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch or drop off at the airport or your Nairobi hotel.
