This Safari is an exciting journey through some of the most beautiful and iconic destinations in East Africa. This trip will take you from the bustling city of Nairobi to the serene beauty of Naivasha, the wildlife haven of Masai Mara, the breathtaking landscapes of Serengeti and Ngorongoro Tarangire, and finally to the tropical paradise of Zanzibar.

Your adventure will start in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Nairobi is a bustling metropolis with a rich history and culture. Here, you can explore the Nairobi National Park, city’s museums, markets and learn about Kenya’s diverse heritage.

From Nairobi, you will travel to Lake Nakuru national Park before nheading to Naivasha, a picturesque town located on the shores of Lake Naivasha. This area is known for its stunning scenery, including the towering Mount Longonot and the beautiful Hells Gate National Park nearby. You can take a boat ride on the lake, go hiking or biking in the nearby Hells Gate National Park, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Next, you will head to Masai Mara, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in Africa. Here, you will have the chance to see the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and other fascinating animals in their natural habitats. You can also witness the annual wildebeest migration(seasonal), which is a truly unforgettable experience.

From Masai Mara, you will cross the border to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. This is another iconic wildlife reserve, known for its vast savannahs, huge herds of animals, and spectacular sunsets. You can go on game drives, hot air balloon safaris, or cultural tours to learn more about the Maasai people who live in the area.

After Serengeti, you will visit Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is home to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. This is one of the largest intact calderas in the world and provides a unique ecosystem for a wide variety of animals. You can go on a game drive or hike to the crater rim for breathtaking views.

You will proceed to Tarangire National Park known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The landscape is of particular interest too, due to the high number of scenic baobab trees.

Next, you’ll visit Arusha National Park, a stunning reserve located just a short drive from the city of Arusha. With its diverse range of landscapes, from rugged mountains to lush forests and sparkling lakes, this park is a feast for the senses. You’ll have the opportunity to spot wildlife such as buffaloes, baboons, and elephants, and even go hiking on Mount Meru.

Finally, you will end your trip in Zanzibar, a tropical paradise located off the coast of Tanzania. Here, you can relax on white sandy beaches, swim in turquoise waters, and explore the island’s rich cultural heritage. You can also go snorkeling, diving, or take a spice tour to learn more about Zanzibar’s famous spices.

Day 1: Nairobi

On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel in Nairobi. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Nairobi - Naivasha

You'll depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Naivasha, which is located in the Great Rift Valley. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or campsite, and then spend the afternoon exploring the area. You can take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, which is home to a variety of birdlife, including African fish eagles, pelicans, and cormorants.

Day 3: Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll depart Naivasha in the morning and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, which is located in the southwest of Kenya. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp, and then spend the afternoon on a game drive in the reserve, which is known for its abundant wildlife. You may spot lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other species.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you'll spend the whole day on a game drive in the reserve with a picnic lunch, exploring different parts of the park and looking for more wildlife. You may want to visit the Mara River, where you can see crocodiles and hippos, as well as the annual wildebeest migration during July to October

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart Masai Mara in the morning and drive to the border crossing between Kenya and Tanzania. After clearing immigration, you'll drive to Serengeti National Park, stopping for a picnic lunch on the way. You'll arrive in the park in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day on a game drive, looking for wildlife that make the park their home. You'll stay at a lodge or tented camp inside the park.

Day 6: Full Day Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll spend the whole day on a game drive in the park, exploring different areas and looking for wildlife. The park is known for its large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You'll return to your lodge or campsite in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Next up early morning departure drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is home to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world. Arrive for lunch and check in to the lodge/camp. Embark on afternoon game drives and exploration of the crater. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight

Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Tarangire National Park

Start early in the morning from Ngorongoro and drive to Tarangire National Park, which is about 2-3 hours away, depending on your starting point. Enter the park and start your first game drive. Tarangire is home to large herds of elephants, as well as lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and many other species of wildlife. Stop for a picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites in the park. Continue with an afternoon game drive until sunset. Check into your accommodation for dinner and overnight

Day 9: Full day game in Tarangire National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. Return to your accommodation for breakfast. Spend the rest of the day on a full-day game drive in the park, exploring different areas and looking for more wildlife sightings. Stop for a picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites in the park. Continue with your game drive until sunset. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight

Day 10: Tarangire National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, check out of your accommodation, start early in the morning with a game drive in Tarangire National Park to maximize your chances of spotting wildlife. Stop for a picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites in the park. Continue with an afternoon game drive until late afternoon. Drive to Arusha, which is about 2-3 hours away. Check into your accommodation for dinner and overnight

Day 11: Arusha to Zanzibar

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Zanzibar. Day 1: Arusha to Zanzibar. Fly from Arusha to Zanzibar. Transfer from the airport to your beach resort. Check into your beach resort and enjoy some leisure time, relaxing on the beach or exploring the local area

Day 12: Full Day Zanzibar

Take a guided tour of a spice plantation to learn about the island's famous spices and herbs. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Stone Town, the historic capital of Zanzibar, and explore its narrow streets, colorful markets, and ancient architecture. Return to your resort for dinner and overnight

Day 13: Full Day Zanzibar Beach activities

Spend the day enjoying the beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters of Zanzibar. You can go snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, or take a sunset cruise. Return to your resort for dinner and overnight

Day 14: Zanzibar to Nairobi

Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi. Transfer to your hotel in Nairobi. Drop off.
