Diani is a beach town located south of Mombasa. It’s known for its long, white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, making it a popular destination for water sports like snorkeling, diving, and kite surfing. You can also explore the nearby Shimba Hills National Reserve, which is home to elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife.

Mombasa is Kenya’s second-largest city and a major port town. It’s a vibrant, cosmopolitan city with a rich history, and it’s home to attractions like the Fort Jesus Museum, the Old Town, and the Mombasa Marine National Park.

Watamu is a small beach town located north of Mombasa. It’s known for its coral reefs and marine life, making it a popular destination for snorkeling and diving. The Watamu Marine National Park and Reserve is home to over 600 species of fish, dolphins, turtles, and other marine life. You will also have an option to visit Malindi a historic town with plenty of cultural and natural attractions, including the Vasco da Gama Pillar, the Gede Ruins, and the Marafa Depression.

Day1:Arrival in Diani

Check-in at your hotel or resort in Diani. Relax on the beach and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Take a swim in the ocean or participate in water sports activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, kite surfing, and jet skiing. Enjoy a sunset dinner at a beachfront restaurant.

Day 2: Shimba Hills National Reserve Day Trip

Take a day trip to Shimba Hills National Reserve, located about 33 km from Diani. Enjoy a guided tour through the reserve and spot wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, and giraffes. Hike to Sheldrick Falls and take a refreshing dip in the pool. Return to your hotel in Diani for dinner and relaxation

Day 3: Transfer to Mombasa

Check out of your hotel in Diani and transfer to Mombasa, which is about an hour drive away. Check-in at your hotel or resort in Mombasa. Visit Mombasa Old Town and explore the narrow streets and historic architecture. Visit the famous Fort Jesus and learn about its history as a Portuguese fort and a British prison. Visit the Mombasa Tusks in the evening, a famous landmark built in honor of Queen Elizabeth's visit to Mombasa in 1952. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 4: Mombasa Marine National Park and Bombolulu Workshop

Take a day trip to Mombasa Marine National Park and enjoy snorkeling or diving to explore the marine life and coral reefs. Visit the Bombolulu Workshop and Cultural Center and see traditional handicrafts being made by local artisans. Return to your hotel in Mombasa for dinner and relaxation

Day 5: Mombasa to Watamu

Leave Mombasa in the morning and travel to Watamu, which is about a 2-hour drive. Check-in to your beach resort/hotel and spend the day relaxing on the beach or exploring the town. In the afternoon, take a boat ride to the Watamu Marine National Park and Reserve for snorkeling or diving. This marine park is one of the best places in East Africa to see marine life such as dolphins, sea turtles, and colorful fish.

Day 6: Day Trip to Malindi

Take a day trip to Malindi, which is about a 30-minute drive from Watamu. Malindi is a historic town with plenty of cultural and natural attractions, including the Vasco da Gama Pillar, the Gede Ruins, and the Marafa Depression. In the evening, return to Watamu and enjoy a sunset cruise along the coast. Dinner and overnight at your beach hotel/resort

Check out of your hotel in Watamu
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight
